COMPLEX PROBLEMS. LOGICAL SOLUTIONS.

Digital systems

SCLogic is a digital systems studio. I build technology designed around how a business actually operates: the people, the workflow, the information and the systems already in place.

01 / Philosophy

YOUR BUSINESS SHOULDN’T HAVE TO CHANGE TO FIT YOUR SOFTWARE. Your software should fit your business.

Most off-the-shelf tools ask a business to reshape itself around someone else’s idea of how work should flow. Spreadsheets fill the gaps, data gets copied between systems, and the real process lives in people’s heads.

I work the other way round. I start with how your business actually operates, then design the system to match it: a CRM, an automation, a database, a website or a set of connected tools.

02 / The studio

BESPOKE TECHNOLOGY, BUILT AROUND REAL WORK.

Custom software and CRM systems · AI and automation · bespoke business applications · websites · Excel tools and automation · SQL and data · reporting and dashboards · API integrations

I build the systems that sit underneath a business: the place customer data lives, the automation that removes repetitive work, the reports that show what is actually happening, and the integrations that stop information being typed in twice.

The technology is a means, not the product. The product is a business that runs with less friction.

I am based in Cwmbran, South Wales. I work in person with businesses across South Wales and South and South West England, and remotely with clients anywhere.

03 / Principles

HOW DECISIONS GET MADE.

Five rules that shape every project, whatever the size.

  1. 01

The simplest solution that properly solves the problem.

Not the most impressive technology, and not the cheapest shortcut. The smallest system that does the job fully, and nothing you will have to maintain for no reason.

  2. 02

    Built around real workflows.

I map how work actually moves through the business — who does what, with which information, and where it gets stuck — before deciding what to build.

  3. 03

You own your systems and your data.

What I build for you is yours. Your data stays exportable and documented, so you are never locked in to me or to a platform.

  4. 04

    Plain-English communication.

No jargon for the sake of it. You will understand what is being built, why, and what the trade-offs are, so you can make the decisions that matter.

  5. 05

    Iterate on real use.

A system proves itself in daily use, not in a demo. I watch how it performs with real people and real data, then refine it.

04 / Process

FIVE STEPS. NO MYSTERY.

Every project follows the same logic, whether it is a single Excel tool or a full CRM.

  1. 01

    UNDERSTAND

What problem are we actually solving?

Before anything is built, we agree on the real problem, what success looks like and what is out of scope.

  2. 02

    MAP

Understand the users, workflow, information and existing systems.

Who uses it, what they need to see, where the data comes from and what it has to connect to.

  3. 03

    BUILD

Create the simplest solution that properly solves the problem.

Built in small, reviewable stages so you can see progress and steer it as it takes shape.

  4. 04

    TEST

Test real workflows, permissions and edge cases.

Not just “does it work”, but does it work for each role, with messy data, on the awkward days.

  5. 05

    IMPROVE

Iterate based on how the system performs in real use.

Once it is live, real use shows what to refine next, so the system keeps fitting the business as it changes.

05 / Capabilities

THE TECHNOLOGY ISN’T THE PRODUCT. THE SOLUTION IS.

Nothing here works in isolation. Hover over, focus or select a capability to see what it connects to.

EVERYTHING CONNECTS THROUGH LOGIC.
