This statement describes how the site is built. It must be checked against an accessibility audit of the live site before launch. Highlighted items in brackets are details still to be confirmed.
1. My commitment
I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, magnifiers, voice control, keyboards or switch devices, or who find motion or low contrast difficult. This statement covers the SCLogic website.
2. Standard and status
I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. [Compliance status to be confirmed once the live site has been audited: fully, partially or not compliant.]
3. What has been built in
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, have a “skip to content” link and work with a keyboard alone.
- Text and controls are designed for strong contrast on the dark background, with a visible focus outline.
- The site respects the “reduce motion” setting on your device. With it on, the moving background and animated scenes show a still frame.
- Questions and answers use native, keyboard-friendly disclosure controls.
- The contact form uses labelled fields.
- The site works at different screen sizes and when text is enlarged.
4. Known limitations
I have not yet tested every part of the site with a range of assistive technologies. [List known issues here after testing, with what I am doing about each.]
The working demonstrations on the site are interactive and use invented sample data. [Record the results of testing the demonstrations with a keyboard and a screen reader, and any gaps.]
5. Feedback and contact
If you find something you cannot use, or you need information in another format, please tell me. Contact me at hello@sclogic.co.uk. I aim to reply within [response time, e.g. 5 working days].
6. Enforcement
If you are not happy with how I respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). In Northern Ireland, you can contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
7. How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared on [DD/MM/YYYY]. [Describe the method: self-assessment, third-party audit, tools and assistive technologies used, and the date of the last review.] I will review it at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
